This policy describes how the Coding974 website, published by Etienne Vaytilingom, processes visitors' personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2 – Data collected

The website has no contact form: you get in touch via WhatsApp, email or phone. When you contact us, you voluntarily share the data needed for the exchange (name, contact details, message content). It is only used to answer your request and follow up.

3 – Audience measurement

The website uses PostHog to understand usage and improve the site: page views, traffic source, interaction events (such as clicks to the contact page, WhatsApp or phone) and technical data (device type, browser). Your IP address is anonymised before storage and the data is hosted in the European Union. This data is used for statistical purposes only; it is neither sold nor shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

4 – Session recording and heatmaps

To identify friction points in navigation, PostHog records an anonymous replay of the visit: pages viewed, pointer movement, scrolling and clicks. Anything typed into form fields is masked at the source and is never recorded. These recordings are kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically.

Aggregated heatmaps (clicked areas, scroll depth) and usability signals (repeated clicks on an element, clicks with no effect) are also produced. These measurements are statistical and cannot identify you.

5 – Cookies and trackers

Audience measurement may set an identifier or a cookie to distinguish visits. You can configure your browser at any time to refuse or delete cookies.

6 – Legal basis and retention

Processing relies on legitimate interest (audience measurement and site improvement) and, where applicable, on your consent. Contact data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request; traffic statistics are kept for a limited period for analysis, and session recordings are deleted after 30 days.
