Subcontracting engagement for the IT services company Tekteo, on production Symfony applications used daily by a large user base — including the business applications of RTM, the urban transport network of Marseille.
Thirteen months of continuous work.
Scope
Fixes and features
API bug fixing and new feature development on applications already in production, with no maintenance window.
Method
Ticket-based work through Redmine, versioning and review on GitLab, integrated into the processes of both the IT services company and its client.
Architecture
Work on custom architectures, through continuous improvement rather than rebuilds.
What this project demonstrates
The ability to fit into an existing subcontracting chain, to sustain a maintenance commitment over time, and to work on high-volume applications I did not originally build — exactly what an IT services company expects from a team reinforcement.
